Hi everyone, just wanted to let you all know we're at 281 petitions,
and I'd like to thank everyone who has signed so far, and remind you
to continue sharing and emailing your networks with the link:

<http://www.change.org/petitions/air-canada-westjet-allow-ferrets-as-carry-on-and-as-checked-baggage-on-their-flights>
<<<<<<<<<<<
If you haven't signed the petition yet, please do, we need all the
support that we can get!
I also just wanted to add, my own ferret Rolo was just shipped ahead
of my own flight, and my parents picked him up their end. He made it
through fine, despite -20degree weather on the ground when they landed
at a stopover. Combined with all the pre-flight drop off time and
transit time, his total journey was 11+ hours in his kennel, with
minimal access to food or water.
Each time he has to fly like this I feel that it just gets harder and
harder for him, and is very stressful for us humans waiting to see him
again to make sure he's alright. I really would love for this petition
to be successful, so that I can just take my baby on board and tuck
him safely under my seat, where I can feed and water him as needed.
And of course, it's not just for me - there are so many ferret owners
across North America who have the same problems with ferret travel that
I do, so if we can begin with these airlines, it will set a precedent
and hopefully many more will follow and allow ferrets on board.
Thank you all again for signing & sharing,
Rachel & Rolo
