A couple of posts yesterday recommended this for flea control. I would
strongly urge against using this on or around ferrets. They get their
noses into everything and will inhale it. The cutting and desiccating
action of the diatomaceous earth might cause serious problems to their
lungs. There are safer ways to deal with fleas.
