I have indeed seen the wet specimen ferrets. However, they are still a
type of taxidermy, which I mentioned in my previous post. Wet specimens
are fully preserved (like regular taxidermy) before being placed in
another liquid preservative. They are still considered taxidermy.

But yes, I 100% agree that there needs to be a warning on Etsy before
you can see the images. Many people do not like taxidermy (including
wet specimens) and do not want to have to see the pictures.

What I do not agree with is the way that many people treat
taxidermists. They are not immoral, nor are they 'sick'. I know no one
was saying this specifically, but that is what thw topics normally lead
to. And when you send these people emails saying how horrible they are,
it is harassment. I can't even begin to imagine how much hate mail
these poor people recieve!

I am not a big fan of taxidermy (including the wet specimens), and
would never own any myself. But I also think that there is nothing
wrong with selling it as art, so long as the bodies are aquired
legally and have passed from natural causes. I apologize if I came
across rudely in my first response, it was not my intent.
