What a position to be in. I need to start asking for financial help.
I've been told that saliva is a serious carrier of HIV -- witness the
precautions dentists need to take. It makes me feel parasitic, though
the situation is critical. I do not have the money I need to get back
to the US for the "cocktail" of drugs people exposed to HIV need.

I am not sure if the authorities here would cooperate in examining
Berhanu to see if he has HIV -- though I couldn't fully trust their
results even if they would. I'm going to the best hosp here in the
morning, but similarly do not trust that they have n appropriate
protocol -- or even that they have one at all.

Do all of you agree that I need to get this set of drugs? The situation
is worse than I explained at first. I have a damaged cornea in the eye
that Berhanu spat in.
