Ferrets are not permitted in NYC so I don't know where they plan to transfer them or if owners will be permitted to take them back. <http://gothamist.com/2012/11/07/21_photos_of_cats_dogs_ferrets_bein.php#photo-3> We are still catching up on things after 7 night and days without heat and electricity. Luckily, we kept power during the nor'easter. Not everyone did. The worst we have had after power was restored Monday night has been flickering last night and this morning. My brain needs to play catch-up so, please, forward to ferret shelters in tristate area in case that info is needed by the NYC shelters. Sukie (not a vet) Ferrets make the world a game.
