Yes, the ferret was killed by the father and had blood in the belly --
which could have come from licking the wound which is a normal injury
tending behavior -- but NO tissue and NO bones in the belly. Nor were
there ferret fecal piles with such things. The dog's feces was not
checked, nor was the dog even x-rayed.
What has always been more suspicious for me is that the parents THREW
AWAY -- in a way that it was not recovered by the police -- the swing
that the baby was in when the figures were lost before the police could
check the swing.
The parents have either said that they were out or passed out, I forget
which. I have always wondered if maybe one of them was not and had a
rage or a blotto rush and clipped off the baby's fingers with the swing
hinge, either purposely in a fit of temper, or accidentally if stoned
or drunk.
