Alcohol kills most bugs, including ants, bedbugs, and roaches. Rubbing
alcohol (around 50%) is less effective than purer isopropyl alcohol
(closer to 100%). That is the ingredient in Windex that kills bugs. I
imagine buying just alcohol is less expensive than using Windex to kill
bugs. Remember that using alcohol asa pesticide only works on direct
contact, and has no residual effects. Make sure not to let the ferrets
near any spots you've sprayed until it completely dries. And also
remember it is alcohol, therefore flammable while wet.
