Readers all,

Indeed she has a good point BUT our own Marshall Farms USA was
utilizing Dist A Mink CD vaccines for their ferrets prior to pet shop
sales when we got 8 week age of sale here in NH. It had not been rated
for use in ferrets even though they were using it

HOWEVER the REAL ISSUE IS: these CD vaccines, ferret, mink, etc are
to be utilized at 8 WEEKS OF AGE -- and the kits are shipped and sold
prior to that age. EFFICACY cannot be guaranteed (if there is such a
thing) unless the animal is 8 weeks old.

PLUS it takes 14 days for the immune system to react and build
immunity, I have been taught.. so

THE REAL ISSUE IS: any kit vaccinated and shipped to a pet store under
10 weeks of age will not be able to defend itself to exposure to CD.

Just my 2 cents this go around.
