We use the Clearview gates here. They are well-built, & easy to clean.
Adjustable to different widths. Ours are 31 or 32 inches tall, and
people with longer legs than mine can just step over them. I have given
the latches a real workout though, because I am short :( We have marked
the position on the adjustment bar, so that it`s quicker to use.
(Helpful tip!)

Petco carries these gates, and they are expensive--but they often go on
sale. Ours were $39, I believe, and we have four for our different play
areas. I notice they are being offered elsewhere now, so a better
bargain may be out there.

These gates are a good investment. One can observe the ferrets, and the
ferrets don`t feel so isolated, because they can see out. We have never
had an escapee, in several years of using these gates, unless one
walked out with me when I opened the gate LOL.

When you use these gates, and a door isn`t closed, it promotes better
air flow throughout the house :) You can also hear better, when a
little one is in trouble.

Hope this helps.

Love,
Zoo
