Well, it looks like the ferret is innocent then. If the father killed
the ferret when he got home, the ferret would not have continued to
digest human tissue and bone. It would have still been in his stomach
and if it was, the report would have mentioned that. Finding evidence
of blood in the ferret's stomach does not mean he ate the fingers.
There was probably blood all over the place. He could have licked the
floor. I wonder what really happened to this poor baby's fingers.
