My favorite of all time is the Safety 1st Perfect Fit Gate. Got one at
an auction and I am now hunting for best prices around. It snugs right
up and easy to use. I have yet to find one with bars that are not
easily climbed but perhaps you can attach plexiglass to the top half
so they can only climb so far? That way you have some air holes and
can get just about any gate/barrier. Me, I just love this one and am
waiting for a sale!
