I'm just a little ferret
I don't know what I've done
To make California hate me
And say I can not come.

I just want to be free
To live with those I love
Be free to go in public 
And feel the sun above.

So please help us change the rules
Please help us with our fight
Please help us make this movie
To show the ferret's plight.

The movie's called "The Ferret Squad"
It's going to tell our story
Of fighting for our freedom
From the California authority.
