There is a small shelter in Rochester, NY (Scottsville) that rescues
dogs, cats and small animals through foster homes, rather than the
animals being housed in a physical structure. In December they took
in a male, albino ferret, two years old named Thumper. He is still
looking for a forever home. You can view him at
