Wow, I haven't heard that breeder name in a very long time! My third
ferret, Lany, was from Petersen Farms. I purchased her from a local
pet store in 1995. She was my last purchased ferret! She lived to
about 8 1/2.

She was my first deaf ferret and it took me nearly a year to realize
it! She was a panda. She was very gentle and sweet, but I can't speak
for these ferrets nearly 20 years later.

Several times, out of curiosity, I tried to locate Petersen Farms. I
found them on the Internet but was never able to locate an address or
phone number or website. They are certainly low-key.

Just did a quick ‘google' search and found Petersen Ferrets which was
founded in 2010, which is probably the company you are referring to.
I would suspect it is the same company that was reorganized, changed
hands, etc. It is no longer Petersen Farms, but is now Petersen
Ferrets.
