A blanket recall started a month after discovery seems a bit useless
doesn't it?

maybe because it's for ground beef with e.coli and the ground beef is
frozen? Regardless, something of interest is that, according to the
article, only ONE person was affected and this initiated the blanket
recall.

Some people enjoy ground beef tar tar. Most of us cook the snot out of
ground beef so e.coli isn't a worry.
