Adenocarcinoma

The drug that is used for Adenocarcinoma is Piroxicam. Our vet
prescribes this for many other animals including ferrets. I had a
ferret who had his left adrenal removed and it was adeno. He was put
on this drug and lived for over 1 1/2 yrs before being PTS for a
serious heart problem unrelated to the adenocarcinoma.

If your vet needs to speak to my vet for further info I'll be glad to
give you his info. He is one of the best ferret vets in the country
(seriously!) and sees sometimes 20-30 ferrets in a day including many
other animals, wild life, reptiles, etc.
