Hi FML Family,

I just wanted to pop in and let you all know that Rabbit continues to
do very well. He had his 6-week checkup last week and our vet was quite
pleased with his progress and how great he looked! We are still working
on getting some more weight on him and I feel very confident around
that. Rabbit is eating very well and he attacks that food bowl with
great gusto! It's pretty adorable, actually! It's just so awesome to
see him go from a very ill little guy with a questionable future to a
happy, silly ferret that just fills our hearts with joy!

So. the raffle is over and we extend love and gratitude to everyone who
donated items, managed the site and bought tickets! You all shine as
the brightest stars in Rabbit's life! And, just a reminder: We still
have our "I Took a Chance on Rabbit" and "Team Rabbit" shirts and mugs
in our CafePress store. They are really well made and cute, cute! The
proceeds from our sales go back into the vet expenses for Rabbit and
his friends.

I have fallen a bit behind on my website and Facebook updates. As you
know, sanctuary/rescue life takes very few breaks. We got Rabbit all
squared away and on the mend and then we had another one of our other
residents have surgery and not survive. And we are still drying our
tears with one hand while bringing in two more surrendered unadoptables
with the other.

And so it goes, right? Thanks to so many wonderful friends, I don't
feel alone.
