Jeff, what a fabulous post. Chock full of accurate information for
newer owners, and a great, great reminder for veteran owners like
myself. For as long as I could remember I have administered Ferretlax
to my ferrets regularly. But oddly, I drifted away from that. Literally
forgotten all about that in the last couple of years. Its so odd that
could happen!

I wanted to add that pure petroleum jelly is basically Ferretlax just
less tasty and cheaper. Crazy enough as it sounds, many ferrets enjoy it.
