I want to the time to thank Cathy Ryan and everyone else that provided
moral support during the time it took me to rescue Barnabas - my son is
a Dark Shadows fan - from the most difficult and obviously crazy people
who had him...they kept changing their names..times to meet etc..but I
always kept the faith that I would be successful. I have 13 ferrets
now + B-man is 14 and I years ago I ran a ferret rescue from my home...

I work as a veterinary technician now but be a part of rescuing
Barnabas has definatly awakened in me the desire to do more for the
animals that I so passionately love! I didn't plan on keeping this
ferret....but one look at him and I knew he wasn't going anywhere!!
That first night I got him I took him to work w /me and he got his
shots and blood and fecal done....I was overjoyed to find out that he
is perfectly healthy!! He is one happy ferret today...between his two
cagemates that are golden oldies like he is and the cat...he will never
be lonely or want for anything ever again!! Thank you again to Cathy
for the countless conversations and endless support she has provided....
Barnabas and I have both made new friends!!
