Don't tell me goodbye with your teardrops,
send me off with your hugs and your smiles.
Please know that my troubles are over,
and all tribulations and trials.

We knew that this life's not forever,
but the next brings us all that we need.
You said that you'd not let me suffer,
and this is the promise you heed.

So send me away not with sorrow,

Give me your love for my carriage
