Hi Everyone & your furkids!
I had a lot of problems with mice in the past. I "taught" a 4-yr-old
ferret how to catch them, but once I heard the mouse scream I never
wanted to do it again.
There is a great "no-kill" trap that you can get from a farm supply
company. Search for it, as I don't remember the name of the company
because I borrowed it from a friend. I caught about 10 mice (my friend
caught even more until he got a cat), and we would "relocate" them.
After a while, they stopped coming. Maybe there is some way they
communicate that others who went in that apartment never came back.
Good luck to anyone with this problem. I know how difficult it is to
deal with, especially if your ferret takes pieces of food and hides
them in places we can't easily clean--just perfect for the mice, who
seem to love ferret food.
