The Midwest Ferret Fellowship is very proud to announce Dr. Tracey
Ritzman (DVM, Diplomate ABVP-Avian & Exotic Companion Mammal) will
be our Attending Veterinarian at the MFF Faire September 17, 2011,
in Grand Rapids, MI. Dr. Ritzman will also be making a presentation
during our lunch break. She spoke to us at our Anniversary Party this
past February and we eager to listen to her speak again.

Dr. Ritzman moved to Grand Rapidsin 2010. She 15+ years of experience
providing veterinary care for ferrets and other exotic pets. She is
board certified through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners
in avian and exotic companion mammal medicine and surgery. She
currently practices at the Cascade Hospital for Animals in Michigan.

Prior to moving to Grand Rapids she lived in Phoenix, Arizonafor four
years. Prior to that she lived in the Boston, Massachusettsarea where
she specialized in avian/exotics at Angell Animal Medical Center, one
of the largest veterinary referral hospitals in the country. She has
a passion for ferrets; and many of the ferrets she has cared for over
the years are some of her favorite patients!
