I am helping a researcher again by putting together some information.
What I need is the known ages of ferrets at the onset of adrenal
disease as diagnosed by the treating veterinarian. If you can give
that age to the month that is great, but to the quarter year or half
year can also certainly be useful.
Known ages means that you know the ages pretty well. It does not have
to be to the day, but they can not be estimated ages no matter who is
doing the estimating. So, these will be ferrets you have had since
they were kits, or ones you had join your family with documentation
from their kithood (transferred veterinary files).
Age at diagnosis by the treating veterinarian is pretty much
self-explanatory. These are not the ages when a shelter person, or a
someone on a website, or a friend, or you if you are not a veterinarian
realized or decided there was adrenal disease but when the treating vet
said that there was.
Many thanks! I look forward to receiving your mails. They can be sent
to any of the following three addresses:

I had hoped to be able to do this second round of survey earlier than
now but Steve and I have had ill human family members who are now doing
much better.
You may share this request with others who may be interested in
replying.
