We received this email at our shelter. Red Bud is over 200 mi from our
shelter. Is there anyone out there that is closer that may be able to
help?


My son is in boot camp until middle March of 2011. He has his
ferrets (2) with a friend who no longer wishes to care for them.
That location is Red Bud Illinois. We live 800 miles away. Do you
know of anyone who would shelter these pets until he is released,
I will be happy to pay for the ferrets needs.

My son loves these two animals. He has had them for about 3 years and
is beside himself with worry while trying to fulfill his obligation
to our country.

Any suggestions, advise or directions will be much appreciated.
