Joining 2 FN cages

I'm considering ordering a FN 142 cage to join to my current one so the
fuzzies will have a dbl wide cage. I'm interested on any comments or
advice from people who have done this. I've seen pics where walls on
both levels have been removed, which I'd like to do.
