their stories.

A young college-age girl surrendered her two ferrets who were just
under the age of two. She made us promise they would stay here & not
be adopted out. We asked her if she would be willing to volunteer for
two hours a month, to volunteer a bit, & visit Snickers & Bacardi &
play with them. We wanted her to remain in their lives. Patty came
nearly every single Sunday [...]54_26Aug201111:49:[log in to unmask] 1108 8110 26 11_Back online15_sandra [log in to unmask], 26 Aug 2011 14:53:36 -0400135_- My laptop has been repaired & I am back online. And so happy!!!!!!! I

doing. He tells me I recieved a call from someone who trapped a ferret
in a Have-A-Heart Trap by their wood pile and could I please call them
when I get home from work.

(Please keep in mind that it states on my website on the home home that
for now I am NOT taking in surrenders, ONLY emgenecies from NJ Fish &
Wildlife and I DO refer people to other rescues who can help.) [...]50_27Aug201105:50:[log in to unmask] 1108 8202 18 6_To Zoo10_Nancy [log in to unmask], 27 Aug 2011 13:34:46 -0700471_- I just wanted to say how much it warms my heart to see a place where
the ill kids get the love and attention such as you give. I realize
the shelters are over run these days and it is so difficult for them
to keep up. The people (where ever and who ever you are) who go to the
lengths of actually doing those every 3 hour feedings and those daily
medications and try so hard to give quality life to those old or sick
kids, well bless all of you. [...]43_27Aug201113:34:[log in to unmask] 1108 8221 15 15_Irene and [log in to unmask], 27 Aug 2011 11:27:53 -0400426_- Wolfy here popping in with words I hope will lighten things up
regarding hurricane Irene. I'm hoping that Irene's effects will not
reflect her monstrous size. I wanted to point out to those of you who
have ridden out and survived Hurricane Renee in the past, this will be
quite the cream puff. Despite her tiny size,

Someone near Oak Park, Il. found a ferret. No one has claimed it, so
she plans to keep it. We are giving her a crash course by email, and
have sent her to our site to read "About Ferrets"

Can someone recommend a good ferret vet near Oak Park, Il??

Thanks!

Love,
Zoo
