Maybe this was posted before and I missed it. Yes indeed, someone
somehow snuck a ferret onto the big island. Could be from anywhere,
can't assume stateside. Get a load of the BS in the second paragraph.
Did they get their information from California Fish and Game?

A little more digging also turned up a snake found and killed in
Honolulu (Oahu) they are also illegal to import.
