If what your friend is having is just basically high very concentrated
x-rays to need to worry. If they will be actually putting a radiation
source in her temporarily they will have her stay at the hospital
anyways. They can also give basically a chemical that is radioactive
that goes to the tumors directly. Find out what she is having done
and email me and I will be happy to let you know what it entails. The
x-rays do not make her radioactive in any way. My non ferret job is
in Radiation Safety, (Health Physics). Give her ferret hugs from here.
