I just found the BEST cleaning product for poop on carpeting, and I
have tried nearly everything. It is Doctors Foster & Smith "OdorLogic
CleanAway Pet Stain & Odor Remover." You just remove as much poop on
top of the carpet as you can without rubbing in, then shake and spray
the stuff on. It starts to bubble and eat up the stain right away. Then
wait 10 minutes and blot. It does such a good job that you can't even
see the poop and won't find the spot unless you put something near it
or feel around for a wet spot. If you still see it, you can repeat the
process, but I've found it rare to have to repeat. Just try to do it
before it dries up--we all know the power of dry ferret poop and it's
sticking ability LOL.
My Minky has been having diarreha problems from IBD and poops loose on
the carpet at least 2 or 3 times a day, even though I don't let her
stay out of the cage too long. She is being treated, but so far,
nothing has helped. So I am glad I found something that really works.
I think it may still be on sale. I'm going to order more ASAP.
