HUH? How is a grocery store kitten made mostly of CORN and without ANY
real meat something you should be feeding FERRETS? The protein in this
food is VEGETABLE protein. Have we forgotten that ferrets are obligate
carnivores? You might as well just give them a bowl of cereal!

That's like saying Jeffrey Dommer is a better person that Ted Bundy.
You're comparing apples to apples. You should NEVER feed a ferret foods
"made for ferrets" that are sold at grocery stores or the godawful
WalMart. I've heard WalMart sells one with dried fruit chunks in it
that can lead to a blockage and DEATH.
If you can't get to a pet store then don't run out! Put a small bag of
proper food to feed to ferrets in your closet - and go get or order
more once all you have left is that bag. You also have the option of
ordering foods online from

Sorry - but I don't think there is EVER a good time to feed
ferrets this sort of crappy food and not only doing it yourself
but recommending OTHERS to do so? YIKES!
