A petco ferret i may be..but still worthy of someone loving me
Put in a glass box for all to see, with my broken whiskers & rough fur
 
Month after month they over looked me
I watched as the kits came & went, but there i stayed
No hope for the coming day, i over heard them say "He's not small and
cute & his feet are to big to boot'
 
They laughed at me as they walked away.. With no soft bed to lay my head
I'd dream of you coming to take me away..
Out of my dispair
Out into sunshine and fresh air
I sent one last plea for god to help me...
 
Then i felt your warm hands wrapped around me..
holding me tight, I didn't put up a fight..
 
Now i'm truelly home, free to roam
There's food to spare, brothers everywhere
You were the one i prayed for
My angel i call "momma"
 
I feel the love you have for me, my little heart belongs to thee..

< you can no longer see lucky's back bone or hips, his fur is now very
soft, his "swickers" are long and beautiful and he is now being treated
for ear mites that he aparently had for a long time. he is momma's big
handsome boy, his four brothers love him lots....>
