NAFAR has been fortunate this year in that our intakes have
approximately equaled our adoptions. We decided not to post 20 ferrets
on the giving tree this year in hopes that it would make it possible
for more homeless kids to have a nice Christmas. We were surprised
yesterday to receive nice gifts for the 5 babies that we did post, from
an anonymous Santa in Nevada. Fuzzy, Lulu, Paulie, Dexter, Bella and
shelter mom all say thank you very much and we hope Santa has a Merry
Christmas this year. Our little cardiac patient, Fuzzy, wasted no time
in burrowing into that wonderful, soft fleece sleep sack and getting
some peaceful rest.
