Chris Mathis was carrying 2 loads of laundry (probably ferret bedding),
tripped over something, fell and broke her leg. At Christmastime she
had 168 shelter ferrets to care for plus her own personal ferrets. I
don't know what the numbers are at the moment but I don't think the
number has changed a whole lot.....wouldn't it be nice if a 168
adopters showed up! Any ways she needs lots of help at the shelter
and some encouragement from the ferret community. The leg that broke
was the same one that was so horribly injured in the car accident a
few years ago. Her husband Dave has not been feeling well lately too.
