You've heard about all the great speakers for the IFC's upcoming
Phoenix Symposium. Another delightful aspect of these events is seeing
old friends and making new ones. Remember the first gathering in the
states, after Randy Belair's wonderful Toronto event? That was in Las
Vegas in 2002. The hotel we stayed at had a casino on the main floor;
we had to pass all the slot machines to get to the elevators. And for
our daily meetings, we walked through an antique car showroom to get
to the meeting room.
