I took and gave my ferrets shark cartilage for years. I cannot remember
what I read to get me started on that. But about 10 years ago, I
attended a continuing education seminar given by health specialists.
"The only one shark cartilage is good for is the shark."

I have not forgotten those exact words given by a doctor who was
lecturing for the Institute for Natural Resources (INR) that day.
Maybe 10 years from now they will reverse the findings. But I
stopped using the cartilage and saved a bundle.
