Several zoos and other facilities across the country are holding events
over the next week to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the rediscovery
of black-footed ferrets, including the Phoenix Zoo, Cheyenne Mountain
Zoo, Lincoln Park Zoo (Chicago), Louisville Zoological Gardens, Zoo
America (Hershey PA), Badlands National Park, National Zoo (Front Royal
VA and DC), Wyoming Fish and Game Casper Center and the Meeteetse
Museum.
