Purina Kitten chow is not the best for ferrets, but can be given, it's
protein is fairly high for grocery store sold foods. I put it in my mix
for the ferrets, just in case I run out of one that I have to order or
can't get until I go over to the next town to a pet store. This way,
they will have something to eat until I get their ferret food.

also, I have no pet stores in my town at all, so when I would adopt a
ferret to anyone in my town, I know for a fact that they most likely
would not order food online, so if there is a food in the mix that the
ferret is use to, and it's available in Wal-mart, then the ferret would
have food. I do believe that Purina kitten is better than the other
ferret foods sold in Wal-Mart, and grocery stores. I don't think the
ferrets should have it as their only food, but I don't think it hurts
to have it in their mix of food. If I'm wrong, please let me know.

Happy Holidays to Everyone!!
