It is with great sadness that I report that my dear friend and
wonderful volunteer/foster mom, Bonnie Simonet, lost her two year
battle with cancer this morning.

Bonnie has had fuzzies in her life for the past 15 years. She adored
and doted on her little ones and on our foster kids. When she found
our shelter last year, she didn't hesitate to roll up her sleeves and
get busy. She has been my right hand this past year and I will miss her
companionship and her dedicated service immensely. Bonnie leaves behind
three grown sons, her husband of 37 years, Donald Simonet, and 12 very
sad little ferrets who will come here to the shelter per Bonnie's last
request.
