Hi,

Eight in One Ultimate ferret food has raisin juice listed as the 6th
ingredient, immediately followed by banana puree. I emailed the company
to ask why those ingredients were included, and was told they're used
to increase the food's palatability.

But since raisins are known to be toxic, why would a food include
raisin juice, or banana puree, for that matter? Both of these
ingredients are unnecessary sugars.
