The American Ferret Association is opening up a 10 day public comment
period (August 22-31) concerning the banning of Carolina Ferrets from
AFA Sanctioned events.

The AFA has received numerous substantiated requests and reports
concerning Carolina Ferrets including both USDA documented evidence
of neglect of her ferrets as well as numerous personal accounts of
poor dealings with customers as documented through numerous internet
discussion forums. The AFA feels that Carolina Ferrets does not endorse
or support the mission of AFA or otherwise may compromise the
educational aspects of the AFA.
