I would suggest that when the food is available again, i would stock
up. Winter is coming and it is always a good idea to have 2-4 times of
the food on hand that you would usually use in a month. That way you
won't run out.

I would also recommend that you start mixing 2-3 different foods into a
mix. This way, if you run into a problem getting one of the foods, your
ferrets still have food they are use to and they/you won't stress.
