Bear sounds like a healthy, happy ferret attempting to engage his human
in a game of tag or wrestle! Yes, I'd agree with the husband. Bear is
simply trying to get some one ANY one to play with him!

Am perplexed that anything could be so much more important than a quick
game of catch me if you can or wrestle me or hide and seek with such an
obviously friendly ferret! Time will come all too soon when Bear will
be gone and you'll be WISHING he was there nipping you to play.

Don't discourage such behavior - instead reward his efforts and play
with him! Drag him on a towel. Get a short cardboard tube from a local
home decor store - the kinds inserted in rug runners and slide him
through it. Play tag down the hallway. Ball him up and bowl with him.
Scoop him up and zoom him round like an airplane. Bounce him on the bed
sheets. Invert a box over him and play "POP!" goes the weasel. Keep
a plastic baggie in your pocket and toss him into it then bounce him
about. There's a million games to play with him that will take mere
moments from your busy itinerary but will offer you a lifetime of
memories when he finally goes on to his biggest adventure.

They don't ask much from us and one that willingly comes to you begging
to play is a ferret to be cherished and played with!

Cheers,
Kim
