That ferrets need more Vitamin A than people and are less vulnerable to toxicity from it. 2. That Vitamin A has been used successfully to reduce vulnerability to canine distemper in ferrets. 3. That adult ferrets who do not have the full kit series of canine distemper vaccines on board and have had reasonably spaced boosters need a series of two vaccines while kits need more.
