I've had varying experiences with Deslorlin implants in my older ferts,
but overall, the effects are positive. In the past, I have had 5 of
my little guys on Deslorelin. Some, the ones earlier in the disease,
responded quicker than those who were progressed. My little girl,
Bubbles took three months to start to show signs of fur regrowth.
(hence my excited "fuzzy fur Kissmiss" song last December), where my
little old man, Frank gor his fur much quicker. (1 1/2 mos) I think
that any ferret, no matter the illness, when given proper treatment for
that illness, will take a certain amount of internal repair time before
visual results are seen. I've seen it with my adrenal kids, and I've
seen it with my starvation babies. Their bodies take care of what is
most important first, then they get more active and fuzzy. I noticed
the decrease in aggression first, in all five of my kids, then the
other things progressed. I thought Bubbles would never regain her fur,
but she was beautiful, when it did finally all come in. Have faith,
folks, the Supralorin does work.
Cindy and the furry hurricanes
all good things must have a beginning......so lets do stuff!!!
