[log in to unmask], 21 Sep 2010 22:39:19 -0400441_- It was a lovely day at de Bridge. SaraFerret was doing her usual thing
which was sweeping out the cottage. What with two little kits running
around all day in and out, this kept her mighty busy. Fortunately
today they were off playing with friends. She could get caught up with
everything. However...she heard a knock on her door and when she opened
it, there was Dexter, de little boy courier, with a note in his paw. [...]54_21Sep201022:39:

good to see that she has such a great home. Minks are loners by nature
you I'm sure you are right, she's very happy in her Mink Mansion room.

[log in to unmask], 21 Sep 2010 05:03:27 -0700474_- That video is showing a pair of Pine Martens...not mink (tho there
appears to be a big ferret on the floor at one point in the video)
As always, there exists a small possibility I'm making a mistake......
after all, I did try to 'kiss' (touch noses) with a mink........ONCE!
(....again, bend over big table vice and insert nose....clamp tightly!
Open vice.....hold bleeding probiscus, remind self....mink are not
ferret, mink are wild, etc....) [...]41_21Sep201005:03:

Thank you so much for sharing all the wonderful stories and fantastic
videos of Minky! You have perfectly illustrated the difference between
"domesticated" and "Wild" and why most of us (me for one!) would really
not be a good mink parent! But it sounds like Minky is one lucky girl
to have found someone so willing and able to adapt to her special
needs. And thank you so much for allowing us to share your Minky
experiences vicariously through your terrific videos! [...]39_21Sep201015:56:

[log in to unmask], 22 Sep 2010 01:29:58 -0700456_- One of our adopters tried to buy Totally Ferret at PetSmart and was
told it was being discontinued. Is this true? Are we all left to
ordering it from one of the many ferret and other pet food on-line
stores? That doesn't help the new owners who (hopefully) might want
something better for their new fuzzie than what they have been given
so far. And judging from the sale of the new MF kits there will be
quite a few newbie owners. [...]48_22Sep201001:29:

[log in to unmask], 22 Sep 2010 13:49:42 -0400531_- Last night I came home and found that my gentle giant had passed in his
sleep sometime during the day yesterday. He never let me know he was
getting ready to leave me, and I never got the chance to say goodbye.
Sparky man was taken from me in June to insulinoma. I'm trying to look
at the bright side in saying that Sparky
