On CliffNotes (Legalization newsletter) out in CA, an article by a
realtor in Humboldt Co CA was copied that was basically a hit piece on
ferrets (weasels) and their owners. I wrote the guy and sure enough,
he has some notion that we as ferret fanciers spend way too much time
worrying about our animals, when we should be worried about the ozone
layer, financial collapse and just about every other "chicken little"
scenario there is out there in the big bad world. Personally, I think
that having companion animals. including our fuzzies, helps us put
aside the big bad scary world for a few, thereby helping us deal with
the big stuff. Anyway, should anyone in the ferret community like to
