Well its that time of year once again. Time to loose the winter fluff
and weight. Time to give our cages a nice fur coating! I cant speak
for the rest of the country (im sure some of the southern states have
already begun). I can only speak on behalf of my area, the pacific
northwest. Just remember that ferrets cant hack up a furball like cats
can. You must give them ferret lax a few times a week to make sure they
are not building a nest in their belly. If you feed a BARF diet (bones
and raw food) you shouldnt have to worry, the bones from their prey
keep the fur from building up. I had enough fur in my cage yesterday to
make a nice sweater out of. So the cage will get 100% changed out every
2 days or sooner for a few weeks.

Have a great ferret day! And dont forget to support you local shelter.
If you are a shelter "dooks" to you!
