Dear Ferret Folks-

Thank you SO MUCH for the lovely things that are arriving daily for
Alexander. You will never, ever know how much I appreciate your
kindness and generosity in this difficult time. The kid is absolutely
delighted to run to the mailbox and find your cards and little gifts.
I understand that some of them are BIG gifts, and his Mom is having
to regulate his sugar intake!

He will be writing little thank you notes to everyone who sent
something with an address. I understand that some things have come
anonymously and while you will not receive a thanks from him, you are
receiving it now from *me*. Thank you, so very much.

To answer some questions I got yes, he and his Mom are safe. We have
had to protect him from the TV weather forecast. When they predict bad,
cold weather he cries because he knows his Daddy is living in his car
and will get cold. His Dad is not in a shelter because he doesn't want
to be with "those people." It's sad. It's just really sad.

You have made his Easter much, much brighter and I cannot *ever* thank
you enough.
