You all know by now that October 1st marks the end of Ferrets at
Heart's Adrenal Disaster raffle (this Saturday), raising funds for an
adrenal tumor surgery for Winter and adrenal tumor medication implants
(deslorelin) for Rhys, Holly, and Templeton. Now, it appears that Rhys
needs a bit more help than just his deslorelin implant. In the last two
weeks, a growth has developed on his right ear. It looks much like a
"skin tag" does on a human, with a "body" larger than the "neck" that
connects it to the ear. This growth must be surgically removed. To make
it more beneficial for you to donate to help Rhys, ANYONE who sends a

A ferret being kept in a barn, using kitty litter, eating cheap cat
food and fruit, sleeping on bedding so filthy... But, Pepper is
sweet-natured and distracting Rhys from being too grief-stricken over
Codo. When God closes one door, he sends another ferret.
