In the Jewish religion, the children of a Jewish mother are always
Jewish,. Hence, since I am female, and Jewish, so are my ferret
"children". We do not keep kosher and they all have their tattoos
(except for the MF ferret I got from the vet school). I am too chicken
to risk the wrath of my family by getting a ferret tattoo, and envy
those who are braver than I. I also did the horse show circuit on the
Philadelphia Main Line when I was a child and then teenager. I can
only image the reaction from "the ladies who lunch" to a tattoo...LOL!
Sincerely,
Jill Brumley and the Paws to the Wall Gang
